Today I gave a presentation. I was nervous. The president of the toastmasters club turned to me and said nervous is good. You’re always going to be nervous but you’ll learn to control it. The day you aren’t nervous is the day you don’t care about your speech and that’s when you will give a bad one. I feel like this carries over to everything in life. I remember reading a quote once. The opposite of love is not hate, the opposite of love is indifference. The day you stop caring about anything is the day you stop having feelings towards it. Embrace the nerves.
